The data collected (surname, first name, email, telephone, address, dates of stay, specific requests) is strictly necessary for :

  • respond to your requests,

  • record and manage your reservations,

  • invoice services,

  • monitor your stay.


2. Legal basis for processing

Processing is based on :

  • the performance of a contract (reservation/stay),

  • your consent for certain uses (newsletter, cookies),

  • a legal obligation (accounting/tax retention).


3. Recipients of data

Your data is accessible only to :

  • Hostellerie de la Gabelle,

  • its services providers (accounting, reservation tools),

  • external partners strictly necessary for the performance of the service (e.g.technical service providers, payment management).

No data will be transferred outside the European Economic Area without your prior information and explicit consent.


4. Retention period

  • Customer relations data : kept for 3 years after the last contact.

  • Accounting and tax data : kept for 10 years in accordance with legislation.

  • Cookies and tracers : variable duration, configurable via the GDPR banner.


5. Sécurity and confidentiality

Data is hosted in France on a secure infrastructure. 
Technical and organizational  measures are in place to ensure their protection (encryption, regular backups, restricted access).


6. Your rights and how to exercise them 

Pursuant to the GDPR, you have the following rights :

  • Right of access : consult your data,

  • Right of rectification : correct inacurrate data,

  • Right of deletation : request the delegation of your data,

  • Right to object : refuse certains traitements,

  • Right to portability : recover your data,

  • Right of limitation : limit their use temporarily .

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all services offered by Hostellerie de la Gabelle, a one-person simplified joint stock company (SASU) registered in the Angers Trade and Companies Register under number 792 611 451, with its registered office at Rue de la Gabelle, 49410 Saint-Florent-le-Vieil.

1. Services offered

Hostellerie de la Gabelle offers :

  • accommodation in hotel rooms or self-catering cottages,

  • room hire for private or business events,

  • catering and breakfast services, subject to availability.


2. Reservations et orders

All reservations are confirmed by e-mail, telephone or via our online reservation system.
Reservations become definitive on receipt of a deposit or credit car guarantee, in accordance with the conditions specified at the time of ordering.
Confirmation of a reservation implies unreserved acceptance of the present terms and conditions.


3. Cancellation conditions

  • For cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival, no charge will be made unless otherwise stated in the offer.

  • For cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival or in the event of a no-show, the deposit will be retained or one night's stay charged.

  • Certain rates (non-cancellable/non-refundable offers) do not allows changes or cancellations. These conditions are indicated at the time of booking.


4. Prices and payments terms

Prices are given in euros and include VAT. They include VAT applicable on the day of booking, but may not include tourist tax, which is charged at an additional rate.
Payment must be made :

  • by credit card, bank transfer or cash (subject to legal limits),

  • according to the terms defined at the time of booking.

Any delay in payment will result in the application of penalties equal to 3 times the legal interest rate in force, as well as fixes indemnity of 40€ for collection costs.


5. Complaints and disputes 

All complaints must be made in writing (letter or e-mail) within 7 days of the end of the holiday.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing this, the courts of Angers will have jurisdiction.


6. Liability

Hostellerie de la Gabelle is covered by professional civil liability insurance.
It cannot be held liable for :

  • loss, theft or damage to personal belongings,

  • damade caused by the customer or by inappropriate use of the premises,

  • cases of force majeure (bad weather, natural disasters, strikes, etc.).
